Do the hard work to retain friends, their will come a time when those people will be your support system.

You will only understand how important friends are when you don’t have them to lean on in a time of need.  While we are born into a biological family, we should always seek to create a chosen family of friends that will be there for you through thick and thin as the thin times will come, the only question is when.  This requires constant work, taking time out of your busy day to make plans, send a text or remember someone’s birthday but all that work will be worth it when you need them and they are there!
