Relationship Quote 42

"Facts don’t care about your feelings."

–Ben Shapiro

Don’t argue about facts with feelings or feelings with facts!

An emotional argument cannot be won or lost but simply is an expression of a feeling with force behind it, to argue facts is to argue that someone is wrong and someone else is right, which these days means people not doing their research.  Either way if you argue facts with feelings or feelings with facts, you will get nowhere.  Recognize in yourself which argument you are making and hope that your partner does the same as you may as well be in a canoe paddling in opposite directions.  All you will accomplish is to get tired and possible hit your partner over the head with a paddle.
