Building and retaining trust is easy compared to rebuilding it, don’t break your partners trust.

You have built so much trust and it is inevitable that from time to time you will slightly violate that trust, you are human and humans are not perfect. Minor transgressions are resolvable but to completely violate your partners trust means you have done something unforgivable.  Consider for a moment that it is better to end a relationship rather than violate your partners trust and force them to end the relationship because of your actions, that is simply cowardice.
