Assume that everyone else is out for themselves until proven otherwise.

Humans are good and evil, loving and hate filled, narcissistic and kind, the question is, which side are you seeing and which side is hiding, waiting for the right moment to show itself.  Often, we assume that a person that shows us their anger and hate means they have an endless supply and cannot be trusted, when in fact you will often find those people to be the most trustworthy because you know exactly who they are.  Love and appreciate those that don’t have a filter for they are the ones that can never lie!
